Our Mission
Burhani Guards Chicago is dedicated to serving the Dawoodi Bohra community through volunteer security, event management, and community service initiatives. Under the guidance of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), we strive to achieve khushi of Aqa Moula TUS and uphold the principles of Islam and Iman in all our endeavors.
Who We Are
BG Chicago is a proud chapter of the global Burhani Guards International network. We are a volunteer-based organization comprised of dedicated mumineen from the Dawoodi Bohra community of Chicago. Our members come from diverse professional backgrounds but are united by their commitment to community service and their dedication to the principles of our faith. Our volunteers dedicate their time and skills toward ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of community gatherings, religious ceremonies, and majalis throughout the year.
What We Do
Security & Safety
- Providing security during religious events and majalis
- Traffic management during community gatherings
- Crowd control during Ashara Mubaraka, Shehrulla-Il-Moazzam and other significant occasions
- Emergency response coordination
- First aid assistance
Event Management
- Logistical support for community functions
- Venue setup and management
- Coordination with local authorities for permits and compliance
- Technical support for audio/visual requirements
Community Outreach
- Facilitating faiz distribution during community events
- Supporting humanitarian initiatives
- Participating in local community service projects
- Interfaith cooperation and outreach programs
